CAE應用輔助鑄件缺陷改善及優化製程-以W公司工具機底座為例

摘  要

本研究利用CAE模擬軟體ProCAST,以W公司機床底座鑄件為例進行缺陷改善及製程優化。首先模擬重現原始方案、鑄件鐵水充填及凝固的溫度分佈。再經過修正鑄造方案後改善可能產生鑄疵的位置及其尺寸,最後再確認最終方案並造模生產。結果顯示,利用CAE輔助軟體分析,可將鑄造過程的充填及凝固可視化,藉由模擬分析減少鑄疵發生及製程優化,可簡省時間約60%且在實際製程時間內能完成至少四次以上模擬分析。其結果有助工程師及現場人員在生產前了解可能的缺陷及其位置,並依分析結果決定最佳的生產方案,降低廢品率及生產成本,更能增加生產效率、提升鑄件品質。關鍵字:鑄造、模擬、製程優化,電腦輔助

ABSTRACT

This study is use the CAE software ProCAST to reduce defects and optimize process of casting for the machine tool base of “W Company”, as an example. First, by the simulation software reproduced the casting process of the original design and simulated temperature distribution of molten filling and solidification. After correcting the process design, the location and size of casting defects were improved, and finally the actual molding and production was carried out. The results show that CAE assisted analysis can visualize the filling and solidification

process, that can reduce defects and optimize the process through simulation results, which can save about 60% of the time and can complete at least four simulations during the real process. The results also help engineers and on-site personnel understand the possible location of defects and determine the best design before processing. Therefore, the scrap rate and production cost are reduced, efficiency is increased, and casting quality is improved.Keywords: casting, simulation, optimize, CAE
